Another vets trip

I’ve had another trip to the vets. I am well behaved in the car (because I don’t like car journey’s), but I am very excited when I reach the destination, I keep up a continuous whine until I’m allowed in to see the vet.  This time I was fascinated by the smell on her arms, which she said was the antiseptic they use, she said that most dogs recoil in horror after one smell! I thought it was a great smell.  What I didn’t like were some inflatable flees and ticks which they had hanging from the ceiling.  I didn’t notice to begin with but when I did, I barked at them to scare them away – nasty things.  I think they must have just put them up as another dog took exception to them and we had a good rant.

Vets…

I had a trip to the vets today, my owner seemed to think it was because of my itchy skin but I know that it was because the vet likes to play with me and I cheer up the other animals. I had to sit in the waiting room for a long time, which I did not like, because I was desparate to go in and play. When I finally went in the vet seemed very excited to see me. I got to stand up on the big table and have a look around, the vet had a look in my ear, but I didn’t really think that that seemed like a fun game. As I was such a wonderful visitor I got given some great snacks – liver and rosemary flavoured treats. When we were talking to the receptionist the humans seemed to have forgotten the name of this snack so they had to go and keep asking for more details – something about dosage – I could have told them if only they would listen, at least one packet of snacks a day!
