I had a visitor at the weekend. She came to play with me especially. So it meant that I got to have morning cuddles this weekend and someone to throw a toy for me to chase.
She took me for a run and we went to the University. This is a lot further to run than I normally go and we went at a cracking pace. When we got back I was panting a lot! But I soon recovered and wanted to play even more!

I’ve had the family down for Easter, which has been great fun. I’ve been very busy entertaining them and playing with them. Here is a photo of me playing catch with one of them. By the way he his over 6 foot and look how high I have jumped!

Like an Olympic athlete!

It is still very wintery in Exeter and more snow has landed. I’m getting used to this white stuff, so when it came down I was out in the garden have a play and a run around. Watch me go!

As seen in my previous post, there is a very cute photo of me with snow on my beard. One of the humans sent this photo into the local paper, the Express & Echo, and they have published it in their pets corner page. To be honest they should have made my photo the centre piece but I am humble enough to share the glory with some other animals.

An expert tracker can see the footprints of a Border Terrier
This white stuff that has fallen out of the skies seems to have caused quite a lot of excitement across the country. Being a curious pooch I ran around madly in the garden checking it out and the results of my investigation are that it is cold and wet – better have a day laying on the rug next the fire.

mmm snow!

I have been for a walk down by the Double Locks along the canal in Exeter (also the name of a pub – wonder where this story is going). As has become the norm on my weekend walks, we stopped off for a meal in a pub. I nearly didn’t go in because there was this big dog standing guard over the door, and it scared me a bit (it was growling).
I did go in and luckily the big dog ignored me. Instead it picked on another dog that was in the pub.

Well, the other weekend I was left in charge of the house with the man second in command so I was able to loaf around and have lie-ins in a blokeish manner.
On the Friday we had to walk down to the train station to pick up the car that had been left behind for the other human’s trip to London. I’d hoped that we were going to a run, but it turned out to be a long walk instead. I demanded lots of playing afterwards to make up for not going on my run.
I’d hoped for lots of fun on Saturday. It started with a long walk at Stoke Woods in the morning, but ended up with me being left on my own whilst the human went off to watch the football. I reckon that I could play for Exeter better than some of the others, I have great ball skills!
On Sunday we went for a walk at Drake’s field, it started with sunshine but then these weird things fell out of the sky, “hailstones”, I tried to eat them but they didn’t taste of much. I thought maybe it was some manna from heaven for me, but I think someone was playing a trick. Bit like that weird snowy stuff.
All in all I think I was glad when the head of the household returned to bring some order to the place!

Thought I’d let you all know about my local park. It’s called Mincinglake and I think it is great!
I had a nice time at Mincinglake today. I met a Dalmatian and the dog invited me to run around and play. I had a lovely time and was excited to be allowed to run off and play. The humans were saying how beautiful I am and making a fuss of me, which is all true. I will spend every walk looking for my new friends in the future.
Heard an underground rumour of a dog warden at Mincinglake though. I met a Jack Russell that the dog warden took the dog away as a stray. Apparently the Jack Russell’s human had to pay £80 to get her dog back. I hope this is a false rumour and is not true!
My human fell over in the mud today! Just trying to match my muddy colours I expect!
