Cats and dogs

I like cats. I know that this is a controversial statement for a dog to make, but I think that us dogs could learn a few lessons from them. For a start they seem to command the furniture much more than us canines. And what about those cat flaps, why don’t I have a dog flap? (not that I really want to leave the comfort of a warm house). On the other hand I think that I could teach those cats a trick or two, for a start they are not very good at reading the moods of humans. They go and sit on the laps of the human who least wants their presence, whereas I welcome every human but play with those who are most willing. Humans want attention even more than dogs so when the less confident humans see all this fun taking place they will be wanting to join in.

 On occasion I have approached cats to open this dialogue with them but they just run away! At least we could unite to take over the pet shops!
