I have been for a walk down by the Double Locks along the canal in Exeter (also the name of a pub – wonder where this story is going). As has become the norm on my weekend walks, we stopped off for a meal in a pub. I nearly didn’t go in because there was this big dog standing guard over the door, and it scared me a bit (it was growling).
I did go in and luckily the big dog ignored me. Instead it picked on another dog that was in the pub.

Last week, someone set off a bomb in Exeter, in my city! I don’t really know the reason why, but apart from the bomber, no-one was hurt.
At the time of the attack though, I was going for a walk in my local park and I could hear all the sirens from the police cars as they rushed to the city centre. I have to admit that I felt quite scared and I let out a howl! Devon is meant to be a peaceful place.

As is the lot of a Border Terrrier, I have had my winter coat stripped off! Not fun!

For some reason the humans have covered the house in stuff they call “scaffolding”. I am protesting about this invasion on my territory! People keep appearing at the window, and then there are thumps and bangs from all over the house. I was too upset by all of this to even play with my raggy, which is my favourite toy. So out of this ordeal I have been given a new toy to cheer me up.
